Lots of people think meditation is about clearing your mind, or stopping all thoughts.Instead, just try to practice focusing your attention, and practice some more when your mind wanders. Stay with whatever arises. When thoughts or feelings arise, and they will, you might try staying with them awhile :-
Find a quiet spot where you can sit or stand comfortably with your eyes closed.
2.Set a timer for twenty minutes.
Make no effort to control the breath; simply breathe naturally.
Focus on your breath. Simply allow your mind to settle on your breath coming and going in and out of your nose.
- You are now doing a basic meditation.
- You may notice that you are crying during meditation. It’s normal. Don’t worry.Let the emotion go and return to focusing on your breath.
